Eight Legs, Two Hearts: A Story of Unexpected Connection
hey you,
it's been two days since i released you. i've been searching for you today, but with night falling, if you're still around, you're likely tucked away, trying to stay warm.
i still wonder if letting you go was the right call. you seemed quite weak when we first met. you drank water like you hadn't had any in ages, so i'm hoping it was. and after i caught and brought you that isopod, you were much more energetic the next day. i think it was for the best, considering you likely didn't choose to stay here in the first place.
if, by some slim chance, you're reading this ,though i know you're a spider, after all, please know that i'm here if you want to come back inside or need anything. i'm keeping an eye out during the warmer parts of the day, so if you're hungry, do a little dance to let me know.
to anyone reading this, whether your name is jack or not, i had a brief relationship with a jumping spider. i provided it with shelter, food, and water. as you know from above, i set it free. i'll add some pictures later. i just wanted to get this off my chest first.
i'll write another, more detailed blog post about this soon, and include those pictures.
